I’m Brian Holmes — a business and personal success coach, mentor, husband, and father. I build people, and these people build businesses, schools, non-profits, ministries, and most importantly, other influencers. I come along-side of individuals who desire to grow and succeed, and help set them on the path.
My core philosophy revolves around the premise that our world needs real leaders ... men, women, boys, and girls whose unique abilities add value, virtue, and principle-centered influence to every area of society.
For more than a quarter of a century, I have been in the business of building people. My work has taken me to 18 countries on 4 continents, and I've had the privilege of working with influencers from all backgrounds, walks of life, and belief systems.
Through my books, audio programs, seminars, and online training courses, I've helped thousands of people to experience personal healing, discover their unique ability and identity, design and execute life and business strategies, and ultimately make an impact in their world.
My Background
Born and raised in Houston, TX (USA), I grew up in an average home on an average street, received an average education, and for the most part, was surrounded my entire young life by average people. My parents loved me and my siblings and provided very well for us, but did not nurture us to think about significance, success, or influence.
I was raised in a home that espoused Judeo-Christian values. In fact, some would have considered us a religious family. Like many in my generation, we were very involved in our church congregation, and very much guided by the Biblical teaching that was prevalent in our relationship circles.
In my early teens, something in me changed. I became "hungry" for more, although I had no idea what "more" looked like. I began listening to inspirational and motivational teachings by men like Zig Ziglar, Paul J. Meyer, Earl Nightingale, and several others. These concepts and ideas only fed my desire and drive to "become", to "grow", to "BE".
It became evident to me that I would never be satisfied with"Average And Ordinary".
This propensity towards personal development, growth, and influence began to open up opportunities for me. At 16 years old I began teaching classes, hosting small groups, and mentoring others who were also "hungry".
In 1989 I married my beautiful wife, moved to Dallas, TX (USA), and embarked on a new chapter. For the last 30+ years I have consistently had my hand in the business world (real estate, banking, mortgage lending, sales, non-profit management, training, consulting, etc.) and the people business (clergy, certified counseling, leadership development, and coaching). Now in my 50's, I recognize that my best work is ahead of me.
I am older, wiser, more experienced, and well equipped to build leaders and influencers who will make a difference for years to come.
My Work
In 2012, I made a significant transition in my professional career. Strategic Influencers LLC was formed, and I shifted my full-time focus to coaching, business consulting, and the personal development and training industry.
